In honor of International Dog Day on Thursday, Pet Helpers is throwing a special Yappy Hour Adoption Event at Edmund’s Oast Brewing Co. from 4-7 p.m.
Pet Helpers volunteers will be on hand with adoptable pups for guests to pet, play and fall in love with. Adoptions will be offered at 50% of the normal $350 fee, courtesy of LimRic Plumbing Heating & Air.
Even if you’re not looking to adopt, head to the event to pet the pups and grab a beer from Edmund’s Oast Brewing Co., and Pet Helpers will get $1 from each pint sold.
There will also be giveaways available to all dogs and their parents who attend the event.
Though Pet Helpers will be on site at the event with adoptable puppies, the shelter has many more dogs and cats of all ages looking for their furrever home. You can find more adoptable pets at pethelpers.org/adopt-foster.
Edmund’s Oast Brewing Co. is located at 1505 King Street Extension, in the Pacific Box and Crate development.
