Charleston Friends of the Library (CFOL) is hosting its latest branch book sale today and Saturday at James Island’s Baxter-Patrick Library (1858 Grimball Road). The event runs 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. both days.

Gently used will be for sale, all to benefit the nonprofit Friends of the Library, which supports library services, equipment, training, materials and public programming. Prices starts at $1 for pocket paperbacks and top-out at $4 for hardback books.

“We are excited to be at the new Baxter-Patrick Library to host our fall branch book sale,” said Nulani Bennett, the group’s operations manager. “This is our first branch sale on James Island, and we hope that every book lover will find their next read while searching through hundreds of fiction, non-fiction, children’s, and much more!”

Face masks are required to enter the library.
