The Daily and Butcher & Bee are raising money for Hurricane Ida relief by running specials from the menu at iconic New Orleans sandwich shop Turkey and the Wolf.
In a post on social media, The Daily announced that $5 from its Turkey and the Wolf-themed fried bologna sandwich would benefit nonprofit Another Round Another Rally, a group that provides financial assistance to the hospitality industry. Butcher & Bee’s specialty headcheese tacos and collard melt will also benefit the nonprofit this week.
“Our team is very good friends with [Turkey and the Wolf owner Mason Hereford]. We’ve been chatting the past week to do something, and we’re doing items at each of our restaurants across Charleston and Nashville,” said Tara Pate, chief of staff for both eateries.
Both items will be available through Friday, Sept. 17.
