Get your votes in now for the 2021 Rescue Brew Contest, which ends Friday. The top cat and dog will both be featured on the small batch Rescue Brew by Palmetto Brewing Company to be released this fall.
No Kill South Carolina, Palmetto Brewing Company, the City Paper, WCSC-TV and Cupcake DownSouth partnered up for this contest benefiting the Charleston Animal Society (CAS).
For each vote cast, $1 will be donated to the shelter to help reach the organization’s goal of raising $75,000.
After the voting round ends on Friday, six finalists will be named — three dogs and three dogs. All six finalists will receive two free tickets to the Oct. 16 Applause for Paws Frisky a Go Go Gala, during which the top two winners will be announced.
Finalists will also receive a $100 CAS gift card along with “pupcake” prize packages from Cupcakes DownSouth.
