Brasserie la Banque offers a Parisian dining experience | Provided

Originally set to open in the summer, French restaurant Brasserie la Banque will officially open its doors at 1 Broad St. Tuesday.

Inspired by traditional French cuisine, the restaurant aims to provide guests a Parisian-like dining experience in the heart of downtown Charleston.

Executive chef Jeb Aldrich curated the French-forward menu, with dishes like duck consomme, bouillabaisse and steak frites.

Brasserie la Banque is open Tues. to Sun. from 5-11 p.m., with lunch and late-night hours coming soon.

Underneath the historic building and French restaurant, Bar Vauté — “bar below the street” — will continue to serve up drinks and bites on the East Bay Street-side of the landmark building.
