Easton Porter Group, a luxury hospitality group with properties in Charleston and Charlottesville, Virgina, announced two new concepts in the 12-story mixed-use building developed by The Beach Company, The Jasper.
“The Jasper’s location in the heart of historic downtown Charleston, along with its premier amenities and luxury residences and office spaces, offers the perfect opportunity to expand our presence in the market and add a new, upscale restaurant and café to our portfolio,” said Easton Porter Group co-founder and CEO Dean Porter Andrews in a press release.
“We look forward to partnering with The Beach Company as a leader in residential and commercial real estate in the Southeast to bring these exciting new concepts to the area.”
Scheduled to open in late 2022, a coastal Italian-inspired restaurant and cafe will be located on the first floor, serving high-quality Mediterranean cuisine and “grab-and-go style” foods, according to the press release. Adjacent to the restaurant will be a fast-casual cafe, offering coffee, breakfast, wines and house-made pasta and bread. Vinson Petrillo, executive chef of Zero Bar + Restaurant — another Easton Porter establishment — will oversee the menu and programming for the new concepts.
“In addition to state-of-the-art amenities and unmatched views, The Jasper provides a unique opportunity to live and work in the heart of downtown Charleston near the city’s top attractions and offerings,” said The Beach Company CEO John Darby in the release.
“By partnering with Easton Porter Group to offer The Jasper’s residents, office employees and Charleston locals a convenient, upscale restaurant and cafe, The Jasper will continue to improve the quality of life for our neighbors.”
The Jasper is located next to Colonial Lake on Broad Street, and replaced the Sergeant Jasper apartment tower.
