2022 is fast approaching (whew) and as usual, there’s a handful of live shows to choose from to welcome the new year with your special someone(s). Here’s an overview of local NYE shindigs:

Extra Chill New Year’s Eve at LO-Fi Brewing Dec. 31

The Extra Chill NYE party will features local acts Human Resources, S.L.I.M. & The Psycodelics, Tennis Courts and Aggie Flores. The NYE excursion includes a night market curated by The Almighty Apparel and visual installations by New Paradigm Productions. $35 advance tickets are available on Eventbrite and are $45 at the door for the 7 p.m. event. 

New Year’s Eve 2021 at The Royal American Dec. 31

What more could you need than to ring in the new year at Royal? The event includes music from DJ Kevbo!, a complimentary “Champagne” toast, wing bar and chili bar. $25 tickets are available at the door and the event starts at 8 p.m.

We’re Feeling 2022 at Uptown Social Dec. 31

Put on your party hats and dance into 2022 at Uptown Social. Complete with a pizza party, 4-hour open bar, and live music from DJ Boogi, DJ Eclipze and DJ Tony Jack. Tickets start at $100 for standard access and $140 for all access. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite

The Countdown to 2022 at King Street Dispensary

Come join your favorite people for a full day of festivities and the countdown to 2022. Doors open at 11 a.m. The NYE music lineup is: Girl Pluto 1-4 p.m., Mel Washington 5-8 p.m., Bedell featuring Chief Brody 10 p.m. – 1 a.m. There will be a complementary Champagne toast at midnight. First come, first serve. Beat the line and come celebrate early!

NYE at The Commodore

JD Music Group will present live music at The Commodore during its NYE bash, featuring Champagne, hors d’oeuvres and late-night snacks. Tickets via CityPaperTickets.com.

New Year’s Eve on the Creek at Red’s Ice House and Tavern & Table

Saluda Shoals and DJ RDot are set to welcome in 2022 on Shem Creek. Tickets via CityPaperTickets.com (sold out).
