The buzz about U.S. District Judge Michelle Childs of South Carolina being tapped for an opening on the U.S. Supreme Court is picking up steam.  On Friday, a bipartisan group of about two dozen former federal prosecutors from South Carolina wholeheartedly backed her. She’s the fodder of pundits on television shows.  And some now say she is probably the most electable person under consideration.
