Post House is hosting former Bon Appetit food director, chef, YouTube personality and James Beard Award winner Carla Lalli Music on April 20 for a special four-course dinner in celebration of her new cookbook That Sounds So Good.

The Post House kitchen will collaborate with Music to create a menu inspired by recipes from her book using local ingredients. The menu includes:

First course
Brothy basil beans with Carole’s Fried Bread

Second course
Steamed lemongrass mussels

Main course
Cumin-fennel lamb shoulder with whipped aiolia and Salsa Very Verde and fried farro with asparagus and shallots

Dessert
Lemon polenta sheet cake with cream cheese frosting

Music will be in attendance to share stories, greet guests and personalize books.

“The best part of writing cookbooks is getting to meet people out in the real world and share recipes together,” Music said. “I am so thrilled to have the chance to come to Charleston and bring the book to life in such a beautiful setting.”

Tickets for the dinner are $85 and include a copy of That Sounds So Good. For more information, head to theposthouseinn.com.
