Local production company and recording label Atlas Star Records will host a national hip-hop artist showcase at 787 Bar in North Charleston April 1 at 7 p.m. The lineup for the networking event includes six artists from South Carolina, Indiana, North Carolina and Florida.
The audience will cast ballots for best performance in order to determine which artist will win an Atlas Star Records agency agreement, which includes a photoshoot with Millie Lewis Talent Agency in Summerville, recording time with Truphonic Studios in West Ashley and an exclusive selection of recording and publishing opportunities.
Founded in 2020, Atlas Star Records represents over 60 artists in 24 countries spanning diverse genres, from Ghana to Nigeria to Los Angeles and Oklahoma, from R&B to gospel to country to rock.
