Joint Base Charleston will host its first Air Expo since 2018 this weekend April 9-10. The last event was scheduled in 2020 but canceled due to the pandemic.

Attendees will witness exciting flight demonstrations by different teams including the Blue Angels, the U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron.

The event is free to the public, but a parking pass is required to prevent long wait times. Those interested in attending the event can request a free parking pass at jbcharleston.com/airexpo.

Gates to the base open at 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and traffic into the base will stop at 1:30 p.m.

Passes are limited to one per vehicle.

For more information on the event, visit jbcharleston.com/airexpo.
