Charleston Symphony has teamed up with the Gaillard Center to produce “A Tribute to ABBA,” featuring the 21st Century ABBA Tribute Band on April 19. This famous tribute group known as ABBA The Concert has been performing throughout North America for more than 10 years.

Concertmaster Yuriy Bekker will conduct the Charleston Symphony in a performance of everyone’s favorite ABBA hits, including “Dancing Queen,” “Mamma Mia” and “S.O.S.” alongside the tribute band.

“You still hear the songs you love, you hear ABBA, but you also have the accompaniment and added elements that will only make it better and enhance the experience,” Bekker told City Paper. “The opportunity I see is that folks who really love ABBA but have never been to a symphony or The Gaillard  will be exposed to tremendous culture in our community.”

Tickets for the April 19 performance at 7:30 p.m. are available through Charleston Gaillard Center.
