Colin Waters and Katelyn Crall
Charleston Stage’s most recent season has been peppered with great performances from City Paper’s Best Local Actor Colin Waters and Best Local Actress Katelyn Crall. Both performers moved to Charleston when hired on as resident actors for the company, with Waters going on to become a full-time employee. Bright Star, which opened Charleston Stage’s ‘21-22 season, showcased both actors, with Crall turning in a powerful lead performance. Crall’s contract with Charleston Stage ends soon, so expect to see her showing up in marquees across the country. Waters will be back at the Dock Street Theatre next season.
