LAST WEEKโS MYSTERY, “Critter,” shows a small beaver, one of several animal figurines that adorn a Marion Square fountain at the corner of King and Calhoun streets. The fourth person to identify it was Jessica Liebhaber of Mount Pleasant. George Graf of Palmyra, Va., identified the beaver as a bronze done by artist Scott Penegar of Charleston.
Every Monday, the City Paper offers a mystery photo taken somewhere in the Lowcountry. We encourage you to guess โ and make sure to share your name and the town in which you live. Weโll uncover the mystery the following week and, every now and then, give a prize.
