Suellen Castros of West Ashley wants to take her husband on her dream dinner with an actor who spends a lot of time in the Holy City and two comedians. Together they’ll dine on classic Italian and French dishes and top the meal off with a popular cake
DREAM DINNER GUESTS: Actor Danny McBride and comedians Jerry Seinfeld and Sebastian Maniscalco. “Jerry can pick the car and the place my husband, me and Sebastian can get in the back seat. Jerry can drive and Danny can sit up front and navigate!”
DRINK: Sweet Grass Vodka martini with blue cheese olives from Halls Chophouse. “[It’s] the biggest martini in Charleston in a real martini glass, not one of those bird bath glasses.”
APPETIZER: Gnocchi with lump crab, basil pistou and breadcrumbs from The Establishment. “It just melts in your mouth.”
ENTREE: Steak Frites from Maison. “The steak is cooked to perfection. The frites cooked in clarified butter are like a dream come true.”
