West Ashley resident Kathleen House wants to sip summertime mojitos on the rooftop of The Dewberry with two celebrities and an iconic Supreme Court justice before digging into a veggie-forward appetizer and an indulgent entree.
DREAM DINNER GUESTS: Taylor Swift, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Adam Brody.
DRINK: Hibiscus Mojito from The Dewberry. “Sunset at The Dewberry [rooftop] is spectacular. Add in the Hibiscus Mojito and what more do you need? It is very refreshing!”
APPETIZER: Hen of the woods mushrooms, ginger and spring onion. “If you haven’t been to Vern’s yet, you have to go. … [The mushrooms] were cooked perfectly, with a delicious topping of spring onions.”
ENTREE: Ricotta and goat cheese gnocchi from Wild Olive. “I can’t even describe the deliciousness of the amazing homemade gnocchi they make there.”
DESSERT: Callie’s In-Betweens from Graft Wine Shop. “You might be surprised by the dessert, but really I am a huge carb and wine fan. … [Graft] has special Callie’s biscuits with chorizo and cheddar that, of course, pairs nicely with any red wine they have.”
