A South Carolina state trooper shot in the face last week during a Bamberg County traffic stop was released to go home Sunday after a stay in a Charleston hospital.
Lance Cpl. B.A. Frazier was shot on the right side of his face about 3:30 a.m. on April 16 after he pulled over a car on U.S. Highway 78 for speeding. The suspect then fled, only to later crash and be arrested later on multiple charges, including two counts of attempted murder.
A parade of law enforcement vehicles escorted Frazier and his family out of town.
