The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office said one person was killed and five others were injured in a shooting near a nightclub in the Hollywood area Monday night just before 10 p.m. It occurred on Storage Road near Church Hill Road.

CCSO spokesman Andrew Knapp said deputies found one person inside a vehicle who was pronounced dead at the scene, while the five others who were injured were taken to nearby area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. 

Deputies initially responded two hours prior to the shooting, following reports of a large crowd on Storage Road. No arrests have been made in relation to the shooting as of this morning. 

Meanwhile, three people were injured in a Summerville shooting Saturday night. One person is in custody charged with unlawful carrying of a pistol, according to the Summerville Police Department. The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim in a Saturday night shooting in Moncks Corner where one person is in custody.
