Charleston drummer James “JT” Rollerson, also known professionally as “Crush Ice,” began playing drums at the age of 8 for his church where he was inspired to grow and follow a musical path, Ohm Radio writes. He has collaborated with well-known artists including JoJo and A$AP Rocky and appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Rollerson is gearing up for a tour with South Carolina musician Bear Reinhart’s solo project Wilder Woods. You can also catch him drumming for Charleston ensemble Black Noyze.
