Former S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley, who lives on Kiawah Island, is expected to place second tonight in the Iowa GOP presidential caucuses behind frontrunner and former President Donald Trump. But a second-place finish for Haley, who is running neck-and-neck with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, wouldn’t be such a bad thing, analysts agree, because she’s polling better in New Hampshire, which is the nation’s next early-voting state.
Here are five things to watch for in the caucuses, which will be held during frigid weather that could keep participation down.
