Oyster reef build
Volunteer to restore oyster reefs with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources’ oyster recycling and enhancement program in partnership with Porter Gaud students. Meet SCDNR’s oyster restoration crew and discover the importance of oyster reefs in the coastal environment. Make sure to dress appropriately and bring an extra change of clothes.

Tacos and tequila bar crawl

Charleston Dragon Boat Festival
Non-profit Dragon Boat Charleston will celebrate its 15th annual Charleston Dragon Boat Festival, honoring cancer survivors and remembering those who passed away. Root for more than 40 community teams from various regions as they compete in an exhilarating race across the Ashley River to raise funds for cancer survivorship programs. The festival will include cultural performances and an array of food trucks.

Frothy Beard Brewing Company is teaming up with Itinerant Literate Books in Park Circle to relive the book fair experience and delight in local beer.
