Bar Rollins, the popular Jackson Street wine bar, today announced Oct. 27 would be its last day in business.
“Not something I’m wanting to write or ever thought I’d have to… Bar Rollins at 194 Jackson St has come to an end,” owner Chris Rollins wrote in an Instagram post. “It’s a whole mix of things as to why we are ending our time here.
“We aren’t stoked about closing but we are excited for the future. The reasons are mostly out of our hands and we see this as an opportunity to make something even better. We have grown out of our space and need something bigger.”
Rollins went on to thank the Bar Rollins team and loyal customers for the spot’s success and said that “we are looking for the next space” and promised that “Bar Rollins 2.0 [is] coming soon.”
Bar Rollins will be open as usual until Oct. 27. The bar is also currently donating to Hurricane Helene relief efforts. You can buy a tote and all proceeds will go to those impacted by the storm. A portion of proceeds from certain bottles will be donated to Southern Smoke Foundation, too. Learn more on Instagram @barrollins.
