Pink Cactus owner/chef and sommelier Brooke Warden pairs Oaxacan-inspired dishes with agave spirits at a special dinner at 6 p.m., Oct. 22. Tickets are $120 and include four courses and agave pairings.

“The essence of Mexico comes alive through its food, especially when paired with the rich flavors of agave spirits,” Warden said. “On this special evening, we’re excited to showcase boutique spirits from our in-house tequila portfolio to complete the experience.”

Diners can look forward to dishes like shrimp ceviche, birria tacos and key lime pie.

Pink Cactus teams up with spirits importers PKGD and Winebow to showcase spirits like G4 Blanco, a small-batch 100 % agave tequila and Asil Raicilla de la Sierra, the world’s first aged raicilla (a distilled spirit made from the agave plant).

Jayce McConnell, spirits specialist at Winebow said that this evening is a special chance to taste a variety of spirits.

“Mezcal, tequila and raicilla are often misunderstood or misrepresented,” he said. “The opportunity to highlight these quality products in the best atmosphere, at the dinner table with food and family… I can’t think of a better way to spend an evening.”
