It’s not too late to plan your Memorial Day cookout — minus the cooking, of course — with catering options from local restaurants. From barbecue to cheese boards, these spots do all the work for you.
(Not catering this holiday? Save this list for the rest of your summer party needs: from graduations to the Fourth of July, you’re going to want to take advantage of these prepared meals at some point.) In alphabetical order:
Choose your own adventure with 167 Sushi Bar. Order platters of sushi (rolls, sashimi, nigiri or a combo) 24 hours in advance of your pick-up day. If you really want to go all out, 167 can provide off-site catering with sushi chefs rolling sushi for you and your guests.

Give Beautiful South a 72-hour heads up and it will prepare a Chinese banquet ($20/per person for lunch, $28/per person for dinner) for your group. Choose from starters, wok-fried mains and seasonal sides. Email for more info.
Hamby Catering keeps things simple this summer with its “sunkissed snacks” package, featuring tea sandwiches, chicken nugs and fresh fruit. The package serves four guests — add an insulated tote for $10 for easy travel to the boat, beach or backyard.
Give Home Team BBQ a 48-hour head’s up and the fine folks at one of Charleston’s most popular barbecue restaurants will get your Mem Day food sorted. Order from a variety of meats, sides, salads and snacks.
Hugh-Baby’s has boxes of sandwiches for all your holiday needs. Order now through May 26. Hugh-Baby’s “big boxes” include 10 sammies per box; choose from fried chicken, barbecue or cheeseburgers. Pick-up is available through May 26.
It’s all about the meats when you order catering from King BBQ. Make sure you’ve got a party of at least 10 people (or the equivalent of 10 appetites!) before placing an order with three days advance notice. Smaller group? You may qualify for same-day pickup. Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint is accepting Memorial Day takeout orders through May 26. Order from Martin’s variety of smoked meats and Southern sides. Pick-up is available May 23 through May 26. Bonus: if you’re dining in at the restaurant on Memorial Day, active duty military, veterans and first responders will receive 20% off their orders.
Have board, will travel. Saint Urban’s is slinging curated cheese and charcuterie boards this summer, perfect for beach, boat or backyard barbecue. Add crackers, chocolates and wine for even more fun. Email the restaurant 72 hours in advance of your pick-up day.
Table and Twine will take care of your Memorial Day eats this year. Its meal delivery service is available year-round and meals must be ordered two days before your desired pick-up or delivery date. This week’s dishes include items like artisan street tacos, filet sliders and family meals like crab cakes and gouda mac and cheese.
