Reports taken from June 11 to June 13

All according to plan?

Two West Ashley women on June 11 entered an Old Towne Road dollar store and separated inside. The first woman reportedly stole a mop and bucket from the laundry aisle, while the second sneaked into the back area of the store and urinated on the floor. The two then left the store with the mop without paying.  This apparently was not a mess that they wanted to clean up.  The investigation is ongoing.

Awww, man!

North Charleston police on June 13 arrested a man for disorderly conduct after escorting him out of a Noisette Boulevard club. The man reportedly swung at officers and demanded that he wanted his โ€œflip flops.โ€ Police told him one of his flip flops was still on his feet as he was arrested, which, a report noted, only made him more belligerent. The missing flip flop was never recovered.

Chickening out

Mount Pleasant police on June 12 received a phone call from a person who they later discovered to be a 12-year-old girl. She reportedly was upset that her father, due to health concerns, wouldnโ€™t let her eat the chicken that she hid under her bed. She told police that her mom, who is divorced from her father, encouraged her to call the police while she was with her dad. What a happy Fatherโ€™s Day!

Theyโ€™re out of control!

Six Mount Pleasant kids on June 12 reportedly ripped open two boxes of FIFA soccer trading cards in an attempt to steal them from a Proprietors Place department store. Security officers detained them, including the lookouts, before police arrived and banned them from the store. That makes at least three reports in four weeks about Mount Pleasant kids giving police a hard time. At least this time they didnโ€™t get away.
