MORNING HEADLINES | South Carolina’s Charlamagne tha God cracked the Forbes list of the “highest-paid podcasters of 2026” in 10th place with a whopping $27 million in income. Radio host Joe Rogan topped the chart at $82 million.
The Moncks Corner native, whose real name is Lenard Larry McKelvey, is said to have pulled in $27 million from “The Breakfast Club” podcast, a New York City-based syndicated show, and other ventures.
According to InsideRadio, the podcaster’s earnings “are driven in part by a renewed deal with iHeartMedia reportedly worth up to $200 million over five years. The agreement supports The Black Effect Podcast Network, which Charlamagne founded and owns 51% of alongside iHeart. The network has grown to more than 60 shows, with Charlamagne telling Forbes that he is working toward building ‘the BET of podcasting.’”
Charlamagne tha God was also recently named to Hollywood’s Walk of Fame class of 2027.
