Folks around the city are pretty bummed about the news that the Charleston Symphony Orchestra will suspend its operations for the remainder of the season. But luckily, the CSO’s Spiritual Ensemble (which operates on a separate budget) will still perform their A Spiritual Matinee concert on Saturday, April 3 at 2 p.m. The concert is a collaboration between the ensemble and the YWCA of Greater Charleston, in conjunction with the Hat Ladies of Charleston. Tickets to the afternoon of spirituals are $10. It’s not the CSO exactly, but it’s pretty damn close.
