Girls Rock Charleston will hold its second volunteer-supporter showcase and fundraising event at the Pour House (1977 Maybank Hwy.) on Sun. Nov. 15 at 5 p.m.
Each band will consist of both skilled musicians you may recognize and new musicians from the community who will have spent two months writing, practicing, and honing a set of original songs. The showcase will be a taste of what the camp offers young girls and trans youth at Girls Rock Charleston’s after-school and summer-camp formats.
As for tickets, there will be a sliding scale donation of $5 to $10 at the door. Kids 12 and under are free.
