The deadline recently passed once again for NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest, and local acts are clearly in it to win it.

Last year, local creative firm the Business Company produced Stefanie Santana’s entry, which was so unique it earned the singer-songwriter attention on NPR’s blog and Instagram. This year’s submission, created also by Kevin Hanley’s the Business Company, features Santana performs “Cross Your Fingers” as a tiny person on a not-so tiny desk.

Other local entries include Avi Jacob performing “Modest Man” and Colorworld playing “Scratch the Sulfur.”
