Cooking and preparing Thanksgiving dinner is tiring enough, but having to host family members at your house can be even more tiring, with all the extra cleaning and organizing you have to do.
If the cleaning’s already been done, but you don’t know what to cook, check out the ready-to-make meals other Charleston restaurants have to offer, but if you want to get out of the house this Thanksgiving, these Charleston restaurants are offering special dinners to save you the time and hassle of the holiday:
From 11 a.m.-9 p.m., enjoy roasted butternut squash soup, local greens with toasted pumpkin seed and goat feta, stuffing fritters with cranberry sauce, petite filet with confit fingerling potatoes, a 60 south salmon with creamy polenta and brussel sprouts, a turkey dinner with whipped yukon’s giblet gravy, sweet potato gnocchi with roasted acorn squash and oyster mushrooms, as well as dessert options like pumpkin cheesecake tart, maple pound cake and a hazelnut flourless chocolate cake.
The meal is a prix fixe menu for $65 for adults and $30 for children 12 and under.
For $75, 82 Queen is offering a three-course meal with starters such as butternut squash bisque, a main course of herb-roasted turkey breast, pan-seared North Atlantic salmon and barbeque shrimp & grits, as well as desserts like sweet potato-maple layered cheesecake.
Parties can enjoy dinner indoors or outside on their courtyard, at request. Reservations can be made online.
The Boathouse at Breach Inlet
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., The Boathouse is offering a three-course meal for $44.95 per person. For each course, guests can choose from a list of select items, including pumpkin bisque and fried green tomatoes in the first course, steak & lobster and roasted turkey in the second course and apple crisp and pumpkin pie in the third course. Sides included in some select options for the second course.
Next door to 5Church, Tempest is offering poached butternut squash with muscadine bearnaise, charcoal roasted hakurei turnips, monkfish mousse terrine with cranberry gelée, an ember roasted turkey with a lavender bone glaze and marbled potatoes, a lamb belly bourguignon with royal tokaji and rosemary, a poached grouper with ham hock consommé, a sweet potato agnolotti with charred broccolini, along with a desert menu including chocolate pumpkin pie, hummingbird cake and cranberry orange tart. The seafood restaurant will also be offering chilled clams, oysters, shrimp, lobster and ceviche for market price.
The prix fixe menu is $65 for adults and $30 for children 12 and under and will run all day from 11 a.m.-9 p.m.
