The Tax Foundation, a non-partisan tax research group based in Washington, D.C., has determined the average number of days per year a person works to pay their taxes. If the Tax Foundation’s not fudging the numbers, the 116 days spent working to pay taxes is greater than time spent on food, clothing, and housing combined.
