Last Thursday, Wilco honored their pledge to do a make-up show at the PAC with what will likely be remembered as one of the best large-scale local rock concerts of the year. Lead singer Jeff Tweedy and the band grooved through a variety of material — ranging from their debut A.M. and the Mermaid Avenue collections to their latest album, Sky Blue Sky. “We’re here to warm hearts,” Tweedy told the crowd. And they did. And it rocked.
Look for a full live review in this week’s music section. Stratton was there. John Edward Royall was there. Derek Judson was there. The pace was packed.
Web Editor and City Paper photographer Joshua Curry took some excellent shots of the gig (these two are from his camera).
