Former Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee visited the Lowcountry yesterday, taking in aligator tail at Beaufort’s Community Bible Church’s annual Men’s Wildlife Supper.
The report from the Beaufort Gazette was that Huckabee didn’t get into his political aspirations, though he assured the all-mail audience of 3,500 that “no matter what happens with the economy, God is still God.” The story also politely calls Huckabee’s weekend talker on FOX a “news show.”
We’re not going to make a prediction on who could be next year’s guest, but we can’t help but wonder if mooseburger will be on the menu.
