It looks like local rock quartet Firework Show will share the bill with indie folk-rock band Austin Crane at the Recovery Room (685 King St., Downtown) on Tues. Feb. 24.

Firework drummer Brandon Gallagher, singer/guitarist Zach Bodtorf, keyboardist Braxton Brown, and bassist Casey Atwater stole the show at the Pour House on Feb. 5 with an impressive and dynamic set opening for Dead Confederate. Much of the set was delivered in odd time signatures and zig-zigged unpredictably. Bodtorf’s mesmeric guitar work soared, and he looked like he was biting on something sour every time he delivered a line. Gallagher resembled Jucifer’s Ed Livengood as he bashed away on a drum kit with double floor toms. Maybe they’ll blast the black-painted drop ceiling tiles away on upper King Street this week.
