Last Wednesday Social Wine Bar celebrated two years in business with a wine-tasting extravaganza. Guests were given a glass and encouraged to go wild with the intense selection — over 50 wines were available. Options came from everywhere from California to Spain, with pretty pink bubblies, fruity whites, and deep, dark reds. It’s safe to say I tried more wine in those three hours than I ever have in my life. Social’s servers weaved their way through the tight crowd to pass around delectable hors d’oeuvres. Artists, media, doctors, and some very hot MILFs (their word) hobnobbed, and of course owner/sommelier Brad Ball was there looking sharp in a gray suit. Happy birthday, Social. Thanks for giving us yet another reason to love you.
