Yeah, the new College of Charleston arena seats over 5,000 and cost a whopping $45 mil, but the coolest thing about the joint, which opened its doors in November, is that — maybe, just maybe — the fancy new digs inspired the men’s basketball team to man up after 2007-’08’s lackluster season. Keep your fingers crossed. Bobby Cremins’ team is looking pretty dang good.
