This just in: Rainy Sunday weather forced the Florin Niculescu concert scheduled for 9 p.m. at the Cistern this evening (Sun, May 24) to the drier seating of the Charleston Music Hall. Niculescu and his trio — pianist Florent Gac, bassist Samuel Hubert, and drummer Bruno Ziarelli — will perform on the elegant stage rather than under the soggy oaks as part of the Spoleto’s Jazz Series. The concert marks Niculescu’s official solo debut in the States.

Show time is still 9 p.m. Tickets are available for $40, $25.

The Charleston Music Hall is located at 37 John Street (843-853-2252). All tickets purchased will be honored.
