Local band On the Hunt — a longtime combo specializing in classic and Southern rock with an emphasis on Lynyrd Skynyrd — announced a weekend of “final shows” at the Sand Dollar club on Folly Beach.
“We’ll be playing our final shows for 2009 at the Sand Dollar,” the band announced on its MySpace page this month. “Then we’re going to begin working on some original material. Hope that you can make it out!”
Singer/guitarist Creig Cooke, guitarist Steve Gallo, drummer Chris Glenn, bassist Marty Whipkey, and special guests will crank the amps and belt it out on Fri. June 5 and Sat. June 6 around 10 p.m. Check myspace.com/onthehunt for more.
