Get a taste of India this Mon. July 13 at the Charleston Center for Photography’s free Second Monday Lecture Series. This month’s lecture, titled “From Charleston to India,” features work from photojournalist and aerial photographer Yve Assad. Beginning at 7 p.m., Assad will talk about her journey to India, where she captured photos from the ground up of a day in the life of the developing country. A graduate of the University of Georgia, she has won several awards from the National Press Photographers Association and currently freelances for publications and commercial projects.
