Writer and co-owner of Blue Bicycle Books Jonathan Sanchez is not much for running, but he still likes to partake in the Cooper River Bridge Run however he can. Thus, the Cooper River Bridge Run Show was born. On Thurs. March 25 at 7:30 p.m., two nights before the race, Blue Bicycle invites the public to listen in on Sanchez’s latest race-related short story.

In the past, he has created some interesting characters for his works, like exterminators, amateur astronomers, dressmakers, Air Force enlisted men, hot-sauce enthusiasts, yoga enthusiasts, gun enthusiasts, and accident-prone harpists. If you missed last year’s shortie, “Laughing in a Different Language,” you can now read it online at beingsanchez.com. For more information, call (843) 722-2666 or visit bluebicyclebooks.com.
