Charleston’s first gay pride festival is coming up in (gasp!) three weeks!
There is still raising money for the effort and you can help. Charleston Pride is hosting a fundraiser at Santi’s (1302 Meeting St.) this Sunday, April 25, from 3-8 p.m.
The event listing notes: “Mechanical Bull Rides, Rodeo/Lasso Contest, Food, Live DJ, Raffle tickets, and THE BEST MARGARITAS IN TOWN!” Having tried the margarita at the City Paper’s Best of Charleston party, we’d have to agree. It’s $10 (free draft beer included) as well as $3 for Bloody Marys and Margaritas.
