Charleston Ballet Theatre’s Jill Eathorne Bahr has been selected to serve on the Dance Panel for the National Endowment for the Arts in Washington, D.C. The role will require her to visit D.C. in June to serve on a panel that will review applications from hundreds of dance groups across the country. The panel’s recommendations will be presented to the National Council of the Arts, which will select the finalist to be presented to Chairman Rocco Landesman for final approval. Bahr was elected by Doug Sonntag, staff head of the dance panel for NEA.
