If you make your reservations by May 28, you can book one night at Asheville, N.C.’s Grove Park Inn and get a second night for free.
And if you decide to go up in two weeks, say, to escape the Spoleto crowds, you could be there for a special guest chef dinner featuring two of Charleston’s favorite chefs. On Thursday, June 10, Chef Jacques Larson of the Wild Olive and Chef Sean Brock of McCrady’s will be joining their good friend, Chef de Cuisine Duane Fernandes to create a six-course, wine-paired dinner. Larson tells us that there are still about 20 seats available for the dinner, which costs $90 per person.
Or you could visit in July, when Chef Nathan Thurston from the Ocean Room will be headlining his own guest chef dinner. Visit Groveparkinn.com for more info.
