In honor of Constitution Day, the Charles Pinckney National Historic Site will premiere the ETV documentary Forgotten Founder: The Story of Charles Pinckney. The free outdoor screening takes place on Fri. Sept. 17, and the film will broadcast on ETV on Sept. 23 at 9 p.m.

Pinckney was one of the framers of the U.S. Constitution, served as both a congressman and a senator, and was Thomas Jefferson’s ambassador to Spain. Historian Walter Edgar will introduce the doc. Afterward, Forgotten Founder’s producer and director Sanford Adams will answer questions.
