Danielle Howle

This week’s Barn Jam at Awendaw Green is a special one for “artist in residence” Danielle Howle. The roster on Wed. Dec. 15 features sets from Howle, local combo A Fragile Tomorrow, Murrell’s Inlet band Ten Toes Up, and Athens-based Packway Handle Band (who have two more gigs at both Home Team BBQ venues this week as well) at 6 p.m.

“I am very excited about this Barn Jam,” says Howle, who recently co-produced studio recordings for A Fragile Tomorrow (Tripping Over Nothing) and Ten Toes Up (Sleeping Lion). “My set is for doing all the wild and crazy other things. I’m stoked that I get to do a little set with the two bands I produced this year.”

A Fragile Tomorrow’s lead singer/guitarist Sean Kelly regularly performs with Howle as a duo. Their next local show is on Tues. Dec. 21 at Art’s Bar & Grill. The Barn Jams take place every Wed. behind the Sewee Outpost.
