When I first read a Twitter post from Yvonne Wenger of The Post and Courier that Sen. Robert Ford was waving a Confederate flag on the floor of the state Senate, I was simultaneously shocked and not shocked at the same time. Ford has a way of turning any venue into a three-ring circus, but each time he climbs out of the clown car of buffoonery that is his mind he manages to astonish us.
