Parrot Surf Shop is celebrating their 10-year anniversary with 10 days of giveaways starting Fri. Sept. 23. Located at 811 Coleman Blvd. in Mt. Pleasant, the locally owned shop offers surf and skate gear as well as surf lessons and surf and SUP rentals. Manager Daniel Blackwell says they’ve always been committed to bettering the community as well, donating to charities, sponsoring surf contests, and taking part in events.
“Our customers are the reason we have become one of the best surf/skate shops in the southeast,” Blackwell says. Which is why they’ll be putting all receipts more than $20 into a daily drawing to win prizes like a Complete skateboard, an XCEL SLX fullsuit, and a GoPro HD video camera.
