We’ve been hankering for another good vintage store since Estella Vitae closed, so we were excited to learn that Alice & Daisy and Gypsy Lady Antiques are teaming up to open a store in October. Located at 54 1/2 Broad St., the shop will have vintage clothing and antique housewares and furniture that are, according to a recent release, “geared toward the young professional — with price points to match!”
Alice & Daisy founder Kate Stewart is known for her style website, and she’s always wanted to open her own store. Gleason Johnston of Gypsy Lady has made a name for herself organizing massive, stylish yard sales in her backyard.
They’ll host a grand opening of the space during the Art Walk on Fri. Oct. 7 from 5-8 p.m. Local photographer Joshua Drake will also have works on view.
