Theatre 99 founders Brandy Sullivan and Greg Tavares headed to the Big Apple last week to perform their two-person show Full Love Throttle at the N.Y.C. Improv Festival. Fellow Theatre 99 troupe 3 Men and a Little Lady — a.k.a. David Appleton, Jason Groce, Betsy Harper, and Tommy Hutchins — also repped Charleston at the Fest.
“Our Full Love Throttle shows went great,” Sullivan says. “Great crowds and so much fun! It was exciting to bring Charleston improv to N.Y.C.”
Sullivan also tells us that they’re putting the finishing touches on their Piccolo Fringe line-up, and if all goes according to plan we’ll see performances from the likes of FrankenMatt, the Reformed Whores, National Theatre of the World, the Upright Citizens Brigade, and Martin Dockery’s new solo performance The Holy Land Experience.
