Thursday marked the beginning of the 94th annual PGA Championship. This is the first time that the state of South Carolina host one of the four majors in professional golf. Billed as toughest course in America, The Ocean Course at Kiawah will be the setting for the season final major. Known for it’s treacherous winds and unforgiving sand, The Ocean Course has been transformed to host the top 108 players in the world.

On Thursday rounds started from the first and tenth tee simultaneously to accompany the large field. The heat and humidity of the low country waisted no time rearing its head as the mercury topped out in the 90’s.
